Labarbara Executes Photoshoot

Labarbara Martin is continuing her journey as a plus size model. Although she has conquered. many run-way shows, Martin has yet to set the tone for a valuable photoshoot to include in her portfolio.

On Saturday April 20, Martin had her first professional photo shoot. Although she came prepared, there were a few obstacles that she had to overcome for a successful photoshoot.

“I’m very confident in my runway walk,” Martin stated. “But I was told what the purpose of killing a run way when you can’t take great pictures?” she continued.

During the beginning of the photo shoot Martin seemed very timid and self-conscience about her purpose in front of the camera. The photographer could sense the tension as well.

“The key to a great photo is confidence,” said KB of The KB Production Company. “You have to know in your heart and mind that you are fulfilling a purpose. You then have to execute it,” he finished.

After hearing those words Martin began to break out of her shell. Her confidence was the energy needed to complete the photoshoot.

Many plus size models today face many confidence obstacles. Some can be managed and some may be hindering. Martin plans to continue doing more photo shoots to master her image as a model.
